Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any machinery/equipment, general repairs, installations and preventative maintenance programs as assigned by supervision. The position is responsible for providing the knowledge and skills to perform the preventive and repair maintenance to facility machinery/equipment in a safe environment. The specialty disciplines currently needed are the following:
Minimum requirements include:
Five or more years as maintenance technician with specialty discipline related experience as stated above
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; prefer completion of formal training (college, military, technical/vocational) and certifications
Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity in an industrial environment
Able to communicate and work with the full maintenance team and with minimal supervision as appropriate
Electrical:
Extensive knowledge and skills to maintain electrical protection equipment
Utilize blueprints, use hand tools, and other associated equipment to install and maintain electrical protection equipment such as relays, communications devices, CTs, PTs, PMS equipment, etc.
Troubleshoot failed equipment using schematic diagrams and working knowledge of similar equipment
Work with high, medium and low voltage as appropriate
Works with full maintenance team and assist other specialty areas as needed
Outside Machinery:
Extensive knowledge and experience with hyper compressors involving high pressure fittings, flanges and bolt torque procedures
Inspect, repair and/or replace items such as pumps, turbines, gearboxes, fin-fans, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal compressors , extruders, lube oil systems, mechanical seals, rope packing, inpro seals, alignments, both laser and indicator gauge type
Works directly with full maintenance team and assist other specialty areas as needed
