As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery.
You will partner with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Works as part of the nursing team to provide services for patients under the direction of the director of nursing Participation in daily case management and coordination with other departments as needed Providing routine services, including but not limited to:
medical, social, food/alcohol therapy, detoxification, maintenance/rehabilitation, spiritual/religious oriented services, and safety services.
Observes residents' behavior and responds to residents' needs promptly and effectively.
Communicates effectively with residents, staff, community members, and professionals.
Prepares and implements plans for the day including schedule of services and appointments.
Assures that all paperwork is completed, signed, etc.

Schedules appointments and duties are always consistent with the needs of the population served.
Maintains all records required to protect the population and your area's ethics code.
Recruitment and training of new staff.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
A minimum of two years' experience in licensed vocational nursing preferred.
Must be a licensed Vocational Nurse in Beaumont, TX or able to obtain license within 60 days of employment.
