Summary:
Responsible for the preparation, review, and analysis of financial reports to summarize and forecast the company's financial status.
Produce and manage balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses.
Management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization.
Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents and expenditures.
Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivables and client settlement disbursements.
Reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances.
Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly.
Establish sound accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulations.
Use accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
Manage Law Firm Insurance coverage and 401K benefits.
Stay abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations.
Education,
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA certification required Minimum five years full cycle accounting experience in a corporate or law firm environment
