Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital part of an interdisciplinary team assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care in efforts to deliver the highest levels of care to the patient and family. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Elizabeth Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values. Unit 5South includes urology medical and surgery, general surgery, step-down trauma, medical telemetry and bariatric surgical including medical patients.
This 29 bed medical surgical unit specializes in the care of patients ranging from orthopedic, spine, neurological, plastics, and trauma related surgeries. This unit serves the general adult population ranging from young adult to geriatric. This specialty inpatient unit operates at an accelerated pace caring for post-operative patients, trauma stepdown, and patients admitted through the ED. Our care is driven by our mission and core values at CHRISTUS. The department promotes a team atmosphere with a focus on patient-centered care. Our team works very closely with physicians and nurse practitioners to provide an exceptional level of post-surgical care. We offer flexible scheduling and an engaging environment by promoting education and leadership among our team.
Requirements:
Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
Current licenses or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
Current BLS
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff both verbally and written
One year prior nursing experience preferred
Work Type:
PRNEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
