Tech will clean the interior and exterior of various types of rail cars, barges and above ground storage tanks using high pressure equipment, to clean the inside of the cars, product removal using hydro-blasting hoses and or equipment, parts repair and/or parts replacement following customer & company, FRA, and AAR guidelines, and performing minor maintenance on the rail cars.
General laborer/construction site experience is helpful.
Ideal candidate will have experience in the industrial cleaning industry or related fields, rail - barge and above ground storage tanks.
Minimum 4-day work week subject to required overtime, on-call, and alternate shifts that may include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
18 years of age or older and reliable transportation.
Need dependable and hard workers.
Must be willing to work hard every day.
Must have a working vehicle.

00 per hour depending on experience Tasks:
Drain, clean, and refill machines or tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions or water.
Add specified amounts of chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations.
Measure, weigh, or mix cleaning solutions, using measuring tanks, calibrated rods or suction tubes.
Operate or tend machines to wash and remove impurities from inbound railcars to prepare them for repairs, sandblasting, and coatings.
Observe machine operations, gauges, or thermometers, and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
Set controls to regulate temperature and length of cycles, and start conveyors, pumps, agitators, and machines.
Examine and inspect machines to detect malfunctions.
Adjust, clean, and lubricate mechanical parts of machines, using hand tools and grease guns.
Implement proper rigging and operation of the cleaning trailer, high pressure wash trailer, Wilden Diaphragm Pumps, and Gould Centrifugal Pump.
Unload various products from railcar in order to clean using hoists or forklifts.
Follow prescribed safety procedures and comply with federal laws regulating waste disposal methods.
Skills:
Must be able to lift to 75 pounds and team lift to 150 pounds.
Work in extreme temperatures and elements for an extended period.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to work at elevated heights.
Must be able to read and comprehend basic drawings and scope of work.
Must possess basic math skills, addition, subtraction.
Must be able to follow instructions and take direction from others on team Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning, and pulling Able to work in conditions that include loud noise and fumes, work on and around heavy and moving machinery, bend climb, walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time.
