Electrical Project Engineer

We have a great opportunity to join the Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions team as a Project Electrical Engineer.
In this dynamic role, you'll play a key role within a project team environment where you'll be responsible for supporting engineering design, construction, and commissioning of automated process systems.
You'll be responsible for generating engineering deliverables, reviewing technical specifications/documents from contractors, supporting construction progression, field commissioning control loops/instruments/electrical panels and supporting operation in the final chemical trials.

Key
Responsibilities:
Work with lead engineer and 3rd party contractors to design power distribution systems, instrumented automation systems and industrial networks Generate engineering deliverables including technical specifications, maintenance/operation manuals, procedures, and drawings (network diagram, loop sheet, panel schematics), prepare document dossier for pre-commissioning activities Review detailed engineering documents from 3rd party contractors Support construction work in I&E discipline and support operations by troubleshooting control systems Support all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations Support PSM standards by participating in PHAs and following up on MOCs as appropriate Assist project team with setting expectations for preventative maintenance and working with vendors to implement equipment best practices Participate I&E related QA/QC processes of the units (Panels, VFDs, Server Rack, etc) Lead pre-commissioning activities such as electrical loop tests, megger tests, motor rotation checks, IO linking, network devices configuration, etc.
Participate I&E related commissioning activities, such as control loop tuning, alarm, and interlock setup.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 2
years experience of related work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Other Useful Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and documentation skills Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
Team player, individual thinker Previous experience in environments like specialty chemical production, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, oil, and gas, etc.
Previous experience in fields:
Typical 480/120V power distribution and motor controls DCS Systems, PLC's.
Understanding of P&IDs, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Advanced network and computer skills, such as network switch configuration, UNIX/Linux system, windows server system, etc.
Recommended Skills Automation Cladding (Construction) Communication Construction Control Systems Curiosity Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
