RN Charge Nurse (Shift 2) (52029)

The RN Charge Nurse will assist in ensuring the provision of quality care that promotes the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident as determined by resident assessments and individual plans of care.
Essential FunctionsDuring rounds observes, assess, documents, and reports resident condition/changesAssures implementation of care plans as directedAdministers medications as prescribedConduct rounds with physician and record visits in clinical recordsPerform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shiftsIdentify significant changes in the condition of residents and takes necessary action per facility policies and proceduresOversees and monitors aidesInitiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policyDischarge residents per facility policyMust complete Nursing Assessment for Physician Calls prior to calling physician on any change in resident conditionCommunicate with resident's point of contact when they ask for a status update or if there is a change in conditionOther special projects or functions can be assigned at times by the Director of Nurses and/or the AdministratorQualificationsEducational/Training RequirementsHas completed a RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or universityLicensing RequirementsMust be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standingExperience RequirementsExperience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
