is actively recruiting for a Maintenance Scheduling Supervisor to support our Beaumont facility.
This role is responsible for directing weekly schedule of planned maintenance activities as well as providing direction to Planners and Coordinating contractor services.
This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent, has two direct reports, and serves as backup for Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on as needed basis.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Develops weekly maintenance schedule utilizing PM's, WO Priority, Backlog, and manpower loading.
Leads efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness through continuous improvement efforts by directing planners to develop comprehensive work plans, task lists, BOM's, and craft allocations.
Schedules and coordinates all maintenance and contractor work to meet production requirements.
Reviews upcoming work orders to ensure necessary materials and equipment are on site at time of work.
Schedules and conducts daily update, weekly forecast, and monthly backlog meetings.
Provide the main contact for core contractors and contractor employees working at the Beaumont plant.
Leads the efforts to organize, plan, and execute work in the plant, ensure contractors' workmanship, approve contractor time, verify accuracy of invoices, and provide necessary logistical support.
Responsible for the leadership, coordination, and development of Planners.
Tracks and utilizes weekly/monthly KPI's to improve planning and scheduling efficiencies utilizing the following:
audits of schedule compliance, BOM creation, task list utilization, PM compliance, manpower loading, and wrench-time studies.
Serves as backfill for Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Superintendent.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing customers.
Sets expectations and holds employees accountable according to Arkema's competencies as well as displaying same behavior.
Ensures appropriate training (i.
e.
certifications, qualifications, etc.
) and required documentation are current.
The successful candidate for this position will:
High School Diploma required; minimum Associates degree or greater preferred.
7
years scheduling and planning maintenance experience OR 3
years in a maintenance technical role or Operations leadership in a chemical/manufacturing plant setting.
2
years supervisory experience Excellent computer skills including proficiency with SAP, MS products, Email, Internet, etc.
Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to have flexibility with changing priorities on a daily basis.
Extremely independent, detail oriented, and highly organized.
Established track record in implementing successful personnel management improvements.
Support 24/7 fast-paced manufacturing environment (position is a dayshift).
Strong decision-making skills, problem-solving and administrative skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
