Operations Manager - New Sparkling Diamond LLC (Beaumont, TX)Job Duties:
Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the dry-cleaning facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow throughout the cleaning process;Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that all items are cleaned and pressed to meet or exceed customer expectations;Monitor and control inventory levels, including cleaning supplies, chemicals, hangers, and other materials necessary for daily operations;Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally;Recruit, hire, and train dry cleaning staff.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees, ensuring they follow standard operating procedures and maintain a high level of productivity;Create and manage work schedules for employees, taking into account the business's peak times and adjusting staffing levels accordingly;Oversee regular maintenance and repair of dry-cleaning equipment to ensure its optimal functioning and longevity;Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean and safe working environment;Assist in budget planning and monitor financial performance, looking for opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability by creating reports on MS Excel using advanced formulas;Continuously review and assess operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, such as revenue, productivity, and customer satisfaction, and present findings to upper management;Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for cleaning supplies and equipment purchases;Implement promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or equivalent plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a manager/supervisor in a retail environment.
Must have 1 year of experience in the following:
managing daily operational activities, including scheduling shifts, handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints and vendor management; and in creating reports using MS Excel using advanced formulas.
Excellent problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills.
20% travel to cities within Texas and Louisiana.
