Responsibilities:
Directs maintenance activities to ensure safe, environmentally sound, and efficient repairs by knowledge of equipment and all appropriate policies and procedures.
Organizes and plans work activities to maintain equipment in an efficient, timely, and orderly fashion by use of work order system.
Reviews upcoming work orders to ensure necessary materials and equipment are on site at time of work.
Conducts permit audits to ensure proper use of permits by personnel.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma plus advanced mechanical training or apprenticeship.
Previous experience or formal training in supervisory field.
Proficient with basic PC software.
Minimum 7 years field experience in repairs of plant operating equipment.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of plant, technical and management personnel.
