Responsibilities:
Support and maintain health of applications.
Ensure application performance is consistently up to par.
Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
Communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical teams.
Comply with standard processes when implementing solutions.
Must able to be on call.
Flexible in working extended hours on occasion or as required.
Required Skills &
Experience:
Extensive knowledge of SQL queries.
Superb troubleshooting skills.
Great problem solver.
Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or established professional with relevant experience.
Fresh graduate with relevant education background is welcome to apply.
Hands on experience in Linux server environment that includes but not limited to basic commands to move around file system, review scheduled jobs and moving files for support purposes.
Experience with formatting database queries.
Extra Nice-to-haves Support experience with applications that written JAVA and web scripting languages highly desired.
Knowledge of Apache and Tomcat.
Know Microsoft IIS will be a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge on web applications.
JAVA and any web scripting knowledge are a major plus.
Experience with Point-Of-Sales or Electronic Funds Transfer applications a major plus.
