Responsibilities:
Start your day by developing a safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training program for a client whose fitness goals include increasing cardiovascular endurance and reducing total body fat by 3%.
After lunch, teach a seminar to members on the benefits of interval training while discussing current health and fitness issues and trends.
Then, monitor and instruct a new client during her first personal training session on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.
Round out your day with a shift at the service desk to ensure that members have a place to go if they have questions about equipment or fitness needs.
Qualifications:
Four year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field preferred.
One year of personal training and program design experience preferred.
Personal Training Certification (minimum of one):
-ACE, ACSM, Cooper Fitness, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI.
-CPR/AED Certification required within 6 months of hire.
