Clinic Office Assistant/ Admin

The Clinic Office Admin/ Assistant is a vital part of the Intercede Health team.
Through the direction of the Clinic Nurse on- site and Director of Nursing off-site, for the day-to-day front office and administrative duties of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
o Greet patients; o Schedule and confirm patient appointments; o Collect patient payments; o Check patients in and out; o Assist with referrals; o Maintain supplies, facility and equipment required for patient management; o Update and maintain patient records in Electronic Medical Record (EMR); o Performs surveys, questionnaires and data entry as assigned; and
Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent required; o 2 years working in a front desk administrative capacity required; o Healthcare industry experience required; o Knowledge of EMR systems preferred; o Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; o Strong customer service skills; and o Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
