Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of both Complex and Conventional Metering.
Salary will depend on knowledge and experience.
Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain and test all instrument transformer rated meters.
Test, verify and troubleshoot all System tie points.
Troubleshoot communications of remote metering.
Perform vector, load analysis and power factor tests on all metering installations.
Calculate meter constants on all types of installations.
Operate packaged meter and recorder software applications.
Prepare service orders, multiplier sheets, and associated paperwork for transformer rated meters.
Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
                                                 Work to insure Industrial Metering goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
                                                                                                                                                                    Be able to manage all SO/SR/WR's in DIS/DSS.
  Organize work and manage multiple task and inputs simultaneously.
                                                                                                                                                        Work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions.
                                                                                                                                                                     Assist in Network operations and storm restorations.
                                                                                                      Qualifications:
   High School Diploma or equivalent Must have at least 6 years of utility field experience is required.
Must have competent computer skills.
Must have competent Mathematics and Trigonometry skills Knowledge of basic electric circuit analysis, vector I phase or relationship.
Knowledge of meter terminology is mandatory.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Must be customer oriented.
Must be able to work in industrial and petrochemical plants.
Must be a self-starter, dependable, have the ability to plan and organize.
Must have good hand-eye coordination, color vision, visual acuity and physical dexterity.
  Must be able to carry 80 pounds.
 
Qualifications:
Experience in Field Metering.
Associate Degree.
Any certificates, licenses, etc.
required for the position :
Current Texas driver license.
Must have or must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
