Summary:
Maintain and update the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to insure uninterrupted terminal operation. Design, develop, document, coordinate and implement changes to the SCADA system to support terminal operational changes and engineering projects. Responsible for building the SCADA data bases to acquire data from remote PLC sites and work with Control Center personnel to design and implement graphic displays to support terminal operation. Work with field technicians to support and troubleshoot new instrumentation being added to the terminal and SCADA system. Assist field technicians in configuring, maintaining and testing new network equipment on the SCADA network. Work with communication vendors to quickly resolve data communication problems during outages. Investigate, evaluate and recommend hardware, software, or service required to repair, replace, enhance, update or
improve the SCADA environment. Must work closely with pipeline operations personnel on a daily basis and respond to their urgent systems needs. Create scripts, reports and troubleshooting tools using VB.Net and SQL queries. Update software and software configurations as needed to maintain system integrity. Coordinate with vendors for product support. Responsible for writing documentation as needed to support job functions. Requirements Skills Desired:

Experience:
Experience with OASyS DNA is highly desirable. Experience with PLC protocols, including Modbus, CIP, DF1, PCCC, is preferred. Experience with networking and communications concepts in a real-time environment is desired. Must be able to work well in a team environment and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
