Airgas Merchant Gases is the leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related products is currently seeking Team Drivers to join our team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drives truck to destination and operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials. Prepares customer's delivery ticket specific to the product delivered and obtains customer signature Keeps record of materials and products transported. Maintains records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations. Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Secures cargo prior to and during transit. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years Class A Tanker driving experience required or 7 years class A tractor trailer expeirenc if no previous tanker experience Class A CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. Ability to work nights and weekends. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS The USES category for this position is heavy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk, climb, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and smell. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
